As a long time lover of Pax Wines. These have changed with age. Once a powerhouse, it’s become more sublime. Aged Syrah is awesome, just different. Dry and elegant, with a dark fruit on the nose, the palate reveals blackberry and spicy and lots of black pepper. Rich mouthfeel and medium acidity. It’s all still there, but on it’s last leg. Cool label. Nice color. Smells like smoke and raspberry scone. Maybe nuts? Flavors are perfectly balanced West Coast Pinot. Apples and berry cobblers meets peat-moss and & cherries. This is classic OR Pinot. — 9 days ago
Another winner from Kelley Fox. Pale straw color with slight hint of green. A little bit of peach on the nose. Palate is wonderfully pure with the sensation of rainwater, with lip smacking citrus, apricot, underripe melon and sea salt, some vanilla but not at all marked by wood. There is a creamy roundness to the body that adds dimension to the piquancy of the attack — 4 days ago
This is a very tasty Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand.
Medium in body with high acidity, and a touch of residual sugar.
Showing limes, grapefruits, green apples, white pepper and a touch of peaches.
Easy drinking with a nice tangy finish. Not too complex and perfect for the beach or pool. Good all by itself.
12.5% alcohol by volume. Kosher.
