I love this wine but I’ll admit it’s niche. Glorious confectionary nose. Clearly too young, as this wine really sings starting at 10, but whatever, I got too much wine to drink them all at the perfect time. Sweet wood, stone fruits and intense minerality. Some pollen as well on the nose. Such a complex nose. But in 5 years watch out! Palate is so elegant and rich but fresh from the minerals and not the acid which is merely solid. Really coats the tongue. So good. The finish is stone fruits, sweet wood and that rock licking feeling on your tongue. Just a killer Grau because it’s got that Laible magic. — 2 months ago
If Sour Patch Kids grew up and gave birth to a grapefruit, it would be this wine. Subtly sparkling with aromas of strawberry and flavors of grapefruit and red fruit candies with an almost sour acidity.

Such a masterful wine at almost 11 years of age. Nose is luscious and deep. Mint and red fruits and dramatic exotic spices. Terrific minerality. Limestone galore. Layered and perfumed. Knockout. Some charcoal as well. Palate is so juicy and energetic giving luscious red cherries that burst with intensity on the explosive finish. Then it cuts a swath of mineral and slowly dissipates. The work of a genius. The sweetness of the fruit and depth of minerality are so intertwined here. Unreal purity. Truly the most amazing Rhini I have ever had. — a month ago
