A very potent but well balanced 50/50 blend of merlot and cab franc grown from their small estate vineyards facing the snake river. Strong vanilla notes and spice on the back. Rich dark fruit of black cherry and tart blackberry upfront. Opened up significantly more after about an hour. Settling down the wine and became very balanced and rich with secondary notes of leather and cherry drenched cigar box. I did pick up the cab franc typical green notes of agave, peas. — 2 years ago
Amazing deep dark berry intensity with a stunningly long palate and Sauternes style layered complexity. Like nothing I’ve had before. — 5 years ago
The Hat Trick is a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. This is a really nice everyday drinking wine and very smooth. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, strawberry, black plum, and spices. If you are in the Boise area, head west to the Snake River valley and visit the winery. They are very friendly and have a patio overlooking the vineyards and Snake River valley. Their Cabernet Franc is Top Notch as well. — 3 years ago
This winery was recommended to us by the owner of Vine Wine Shop and Lounge in Boise. My wife and I thought their Cabernet Franc was outstanding. It has black cherry, black plum, raspberry, preserved fruit, and cedar aromas with a great spice note. After doing our tasting, we got a bottle of Cabernet Franc to drink on the outdoor patio with the Snake river down in the valley. Quite impressed with this winery and had a case of their wines shipped home to Houston. — 4 years ago
Dark garnet with near black core. Cabernet-forward nose of cassis with a bit of green. Palate is full-bodied with medium tannins and juicy medium plus minus acidity, and confirms the nose adding no blackberry and a wee bit more bell pepper (normally a turn-off for me, but in this higher-acid blend, it works). Finish is moderately long and continues the palate. Australia has come a long way with its reds and this is a great example of how. Fruit forward yet food friendly, the Cannonball is an excellent entry into higher end Aussie reds. Drink now through 2028. — 2 years ago
Medium to full body with nice tannins and black currant, spice, light pepper notes. One of our new favorite Snake River Valley wines. — 3 years ago

Nice fruity mead, very sweet with notes of black cherry, but not my favourite because I was hoping for a stronger honey flavour. Still, it made a fantastic sangria and a good mulled mead. — a year ago
