This Sunday evening after my work weekend; which was actually one 12 hr. Shift short; (Covid vaccine #2 kicked my behind! ⛑). I have opened this Napa Cabernet!. I am the only wine Connoisseur in the household so my collection is humble and am trying to desperately NOT open certain wines!
I have to remind myself that wine has its journey and sometimes it is just awesome to taste a wine where it is at in this moment!
Sure this might be better in five years, this wine is delicious and reasonably priced! Presents with mild Tannins, Bing Cherry, cedar big time, pencil lead, soft vanilla, mocha and subtle baking spices!
No regrets! Cheers to your work week! Vintage

This wine was marked on clearance - big mistake! It’s worthy of a lot more than what we paid! Full bodied and great tasting. — 5 years ago
Great wine. Spicy and big — 2 months ago
RP 95 and WE 93 This is good. It has a great nose, it’s well balanced, and has good structure, may be a bit simple, but sometimes I love that. There’s a purity of fruit that I like as well. I just don’t love the profile. I wanted to, but there is an earthiness / mushroom that was out of place IMO. Both on the nose and palate. Great deal on this right now and I was going to pick up volume (I’m stocking up on ‘16’s, think it’s gonna pay off big) just not on this one. Please give me a hollar if you have this and think it’s great. — 5 years ago
The tannins on this have softened nicely although it’s still pretty big. I get cocoa and cherry over tobacco with a touch of baking spice. — 4 months ago
Blackberry and plum aroma. In the mouth it’s heavier, spicier, and hotter. It brings in wood, black pepper, and pretty strong acidity. It might settle down with some air. But first impressions is that it’s big and interesting, and a good value. — 5 years ago
