This incredible sparkling wine is unbelievable! I visited this wonderful vineyard in 2013. The hue of rose’ is almost pale salmon. It’s medium to full body flavor is off the charts delicious. A touch of mineral and fabulous fruit. At the mid palate there is a heartiness I can’t quite figure out. This can rival any and every pink and brut champagne in the world. Flavors of grapefruit, green apple, tropical fruits, roasted nuts, and a lovely note of brioche. Long and lingering mineral driven finish. Vibrant acidity along with wonderful tension and complexity. Creamy mousse and texture with a steady stream of fine bubbles. So beautifully savory. Pale yellow color. Smells very citrusy and tropical, with a hint of some creaminess. On the first taste it was very bright, but had a richness on the finish. Definitely fruit forward, leans heavily towards tropical fruits like pineapple in the beginning. Has mineral/earthy notes towards the end. Very clean and dry. I really like this wine. Strong nose and medium plus in body with high acidity, and light evanescence.

Sweet on the palate with lots of acidity to balance the sugars.

Showing tropical fruits, spices, citrus, mangoes, apricots, kiwifruit, pineapples, honey, yellow apples and minerals.

Long finish with pineapples and honeysuckle.

This is a very tasty sweet wine from Italy. Elegant and nicely balanced. Complex and interesting.

Good by itself as a dessert.

That first sip is intense(hoptastic) you’re, as K. Kesey said, either on the bus or off the bus. For me, I’m on and off.
With food blessedly, the next sips with food balanced out nicely. Great IPA.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of three days. Consistent throughout though, I think I slightly preferred it after some air on Day 1. The 2024 pours a pale ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with winsome notes of bruised strawberry, watermelon Bubblicious, cranberry, pink flowers, and wet cement. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Tegan has become a master of Trousseau as this is about as good as any you will have, including the Jura. Drink now through 2034. — 3 months ago
