Yum! Easy to drink while cooking dinner and after the kids go to bed.....should have bought 2 bottles — 3 months ago
Bern 1.5 years since my last bottle and this has really improved in that relatively short period of time. Confectionary and expansive nose. Pineapple, lime zest, lime flowers, citrus and a bed of thick minerality supporting it all. Beautiful Meyer lemon. Just terrific aromas. Palate is mineral and incisive as ever. Literally no fruit to start with luscious mouthwatering minerality throughout. Chewy and tense. Great mineral grip. Long finish. Very serious and no rush at all. For rock heads only as it ages. Fruit recedes. I love it but others might not. — 3 months ago
I always think of wines as boys or girls. This wine is a boy... or maybe even a virile man. Thick, dense, comes on strong, but goes down smooth. Decant awhile before imbibing and pair this with something with substance...a well-prepared steak, a medjool date, a piece of Lindt extra dark chocolate infused with orange, a buttery bed of wilted iron-rich spinach... — 16 days ago
Savory smoke, mint, sweet fruit notes. Trashy tv in bed. — 2 months ago
#Champagne Crisp, acidic to touch, slightly dry, zesty, and refreshing like a cool breeze. Bubbly on the palette just like I like it.
#Pairing Cooking a surprise dinner for my mom. I decided to make her favorite. Salmon with asparagus on a bed of cauliflower risotto to keep it healthy. Initially started having this with raspberries. I would highly recommend a pan seared crispy skin side salmon with this. Or just same great aged cheeses (appetizer) 🥂 — 2 months ago
Whoaaa.... A dark, black fruit character, notes of smoke and gravel, and a heft that makes the taster pause and take notice. These hallmark aromas and textures are delivered on a bed of soft, supple, round tannins. This will certainly age for a decade. Superb offering drink thru 2022. — a month ago
Fragrant, juicy, authentic, great Côtes du Rhône, just from the other side of the river. Raspberries & blackberries galore on a bed of garrigue, sprinkled with Mediterranean herbs. Amazingly light for 14.5% alc, balanced and with just the right amount of tannic grip. This just ticks all the right boxes!
A joy to drink right now, and cheap as chips, too. — 2 months ago
