This is a good wine, but not a great one. A tad too much wood for my palate. A lot of acidity. The 2017 Alain Geoffroy Chablis 1er Beauroy is a much better wine which we had a few days ago. — 4 years ago

2021/3. Another new (to me) Chablis producer. I don’t have precise notes but remember liking this. The overall style seems clean and un-messed with, and I think it was a bit more structured than the Beauroy. — 5 years ago

2023/12. Pure, classic Chablis - limpid, lemon and stone, a little flint and honey. No noticeable oak influence, in contrast to the Jadot Beauroy (another major Côte d’Or negociant whose wines I drink regularly). A bit reminiscent of Dauvissat stylistically, if not as deep. — 3 years ago
