Apple and Bartlett pear crispness. Easy drinking on any day of the week. It is organic too. Recommend immensely. Better than a lot of other Prosecco. As good as a DOCG classified wine but it is DOC. — 4 years ago

Helping a chef with a Smith Madrone tasting. This is a very nice Riesling that exhibits apples, peach and some bartlett pear. Just a bit of acidity and you will get a fair hint of oil on the nose, not in a bad way. We gave it a good 1 hr decant and didn't serve it too chilled. Light acidity and a full mouthfeel. 7 year bottle aged and drinking nicely. — 5 months ago
So I wanted to try some more Arneis after the Cayega. This was at my local wine store and turns out I had tried it before ha ha but it was a 2016 vintage. Herbs and Bartlett pear on the nose. On the palate it’s light and zesty, almost fizzy. And tastes of apricot, sugared lemon and marzipan. Delightful! I ❤️ Arneis! — 2 years ago

Very old white wine. Golden hue. Smells a bit like golden delicious apples, Bartlett pear, honey and sweetened lemon. Flavors are hint oxidized, but still tart and bright. Plenty of citrus. Lots of tannin. This is adventurous and delicious white. Wonder what it was like closer to 2014. At this stage it’s a bit like my favorite kind of Chardonnay. Smooth and round, but zippy too. — 9 months ago
At nearly 7 years old, the 2015 Pascal Jolivet Sancerre pours a golden color. On the nose, notes of bruised apple, ripened pear, honey and pineapple upside down cake. On the palate, bruised red apple, Bartlett pear, honey and clove. Decent acid. Long finish. I don’t usually age Sancerre…but I dig the expression that some age has brought. I paired very well with chicken fried rice. Drink now…unless you want to see how far it goes, you know, for science. — 2 years ago

Mineral, acid, and a good amount of sweetness. Could use a bit more structure to fight against the sweet minerality but it works out well with some diesel/exhaust notes and crisp unripe Bartlett pear notes. Very lovely. — 3 months ago
