Big and bold Rioja. Aromas of black cherry, root beer, black olives and tobacco. Pallet is lush with Cherry Cola flavors, cassis, black licorice and baking spices. Finish is loaded with intensified oaky tobacco, spice and dried cherry flavors. Lots of acidity. Very New World in style but still quite good. — a month ago

have to say it again. i love whites from northern spain. there is magic there.
this one is a blend of viura, malvasia and garnacha. and surely, malvasia is doing the job. wonderful nose i could never forget, so smooth, so sweet, so gentle… with butter, melon, cream and almond scents.
then it comes to my mouth and i can discover apricot, pear, a bit of smoke, surely melon and some tropical flavors.
like it very much. — 3 months ago
So excited to drink this. Leathery, pipe tobacco on the nose. Forrest floor, old attic mildew, dusty, decomposing musty leaves. Stringent. Tastes like a old leather bound book you found at your grandparents and were like, “what’s that?” and pulled it from its shelf and instead got a face full of dust. But you love it. I love this. It’s everything I love about an old Bordeaux— pure decomposed earth. I would love to pet a lovely, giant Scottish Deerhound while drinking this— a dog as regal and mythical as this wine. — 12 days ago

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (44%), Carmenere (39%), Syrah (11%), Petite Verdot (4%) and Cabernet Franc (2%). Dark ruby/purple color. Very funky aromas of must, red and black fruit along with a heavy dose of fresh poblano pepper. Ripe red and black fruit on the palate with notes of black coffee and spices. Rounded tannins and good length. Solid value. Thank You for sharing, Chris B! — 2 days ago
