Refined cherry and leather notes. Nose is spectacular. Decanted several hours before tasting. — 4 years ago
Drank at home with roast chicken. Such a good bottle. Sweeter than I normally like but didn’t mind — 7 years ago
Tropical and savory. Honeysuckle, tangerine, white peach, salinity, and savory herbs. Beautiful with coconut Thai salmon. — a month ago
Under the radar to many, yet supreme winemaking here. Mostly dark fruit, picota cherries, plums, blackberries, ample bodied and length in a difficult year. Ageing gracefully. A star — 5 months ago
Pours a deep purple with ruby rim. Aromas of dark fruit (blackberry, blueberry), brambles, hint of vanilla as well as cola, Italian herbs as well. On the palate black fruit, chocolate, good acidity, supple tannins; good intensity, long finish; alcohol is definitely on the high end. It’s a big wine for what I usually drink. I think it’s a very good example of barbera. A gift from a friend. — 9 months ago
Ezio Poggio ‘Archetipo’ Colli Tortonesi “Terre di Libarna” Timorasso 2018: Medium body. Fragrant floral nose. Racy acidity. Lemon. Green apple. Slate. Dry crisp finish. This was my first experience with the almost extinct Piemontese Timorasso grape but definitely not my last! Such a delicious, refreshing and beautiful wine! Please give it a try if you are unfamiliar. Cheers🍷 — 5 years ago
Wow, still could age more but spectacular — 7 years ago
Not too dry. Good with food. Tomato basil salad or maybe dry aged cheese — 8 years ago
Slow wine tasting 🇮🇹 wow, light but full — 4 months ago
Beautiful Cabernet. Very smooth fruit flavors. — 5 months ago
I believe that Barolo should be at least 25 years old before drinking. This was tight after decanting, but blossomed after about 45 minutes. Classic old style barolo. — 9 months ago
Dry Brachetto. Bright, easy drinking, very versatile. Pretty nose - strawberry, red cherry, roses . Reminded me of frappato — 7 years ago
Old school rustic Italian, quite dark fruited, salty. Medium body. Very tannic on the back end, very structured wine. Substantial acid. Needs a couple hours of air to come together and show properly. Pair with 🍝 for a pretty pretty good time. // turns into something special on day 2 — 9 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Made from Cortese grapes grown within the Comune di Gavi, pale lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral notes. On the palate flavors of pear, green apple and lemon citrus with lively acidity, honey and blossom notes. Medium savory finish ending with nutty citrus and floral mineral character. — a month ago
