Really spectacular, nose of soy sauce, balsamic, pepper, all in a good way. Medium body, low acid, black pepper, mint, blackberries, tires. Lingering finish, 1987 still has some tannins, would love to have another bottle — 7 years ago

Nose of fresh apricots, honey, beeswax, nectarines. Medium body, lighter side for a Sauternes, less oily/honeyed compared to others. Flavors of honey dominate, some candied orange, clean finish. For the price I’m very happy with it — 7 years ago
