A relatively young bodegas doubled as a 5-start hotel.
Exuberant nose of blackberry, plum, red currant, wood sources, anise and subtle game. The palate, while rich, is very youthful for a 11-year old bottle. Sharp acidity and quite formidable tannins. Probably needs another 8-10 years to completely settle down.

Wow! I find it mindblowing for the price. There must be some carbonic maceration involved. Flowers and cherries, and raspberries, a hint of wet leaves, foliage. Blood, or iron like note of Mencía. Pleasant medium body — 9 days ago
Extremely earthy. Aromas and flavors of red and black fruits with hints of smoke, black licorice and roasted mint leaves. Just a touch of Brett. Really dense (including the color) and concentrated. Fine tannins. Rustic but elegant. Thanks a mark B. — 3 days ago
Refreshing change of pace. 100% Mencia. Shining acidity wrapped up by ripe red fruits. Barn yard animals on first pour, blows off after a min. No oak, light silky tannins, slight minerality. Effortless with a pizza but probably better with @Lars Fasel lamb shank. — a day ago

Zippy, reductive, fresh, nice structure. Lemon/citrus tightrope. Fabulous. ⚡️🍋😍 — 2 days ago
