Dry, tannic and acidic. A very good wine with notes of leather, ref fruit, and mushroom. — 9 months ago

Had this at Sofia’s in New York. Really liked it. Smooth and balanced. — 7 years ago
Crisp, very peachy, a little floral . Maybe white peach or mimosa? Nice acid but balanced. — 3 months ago
Solid Sangiovese in a very strong price point. I have bought these wines from Sassetti for decades. — 5 months ago
A lovely blend of malvasia and vermentino, a bit acidic at first, light and easily paired with meat or fish, slightly effervescent, for me personally no discernible flavor yet very tasty in its own right. — 4 years ago

Högg den på tillfälliga hyllan på hansa. Extremt prisvärd! Rosig, bärig, kakao, bastu. Riktig len men ändå dröjande i flabben. Tanniner. — 7 years ago
We loved this with red sauce pasta — 5 months ago
Hi everyone! This is lovely (rare descriptor for me). Medium red brick color, medium plus body, medium plus alcohol but subtle. Nice acidity, and tannins make this absolutely drinkable right now-- 8/26/25 my 58th birthday, forgot to give everyone my new Miami address for bottled gifts 😜 . Certainly floral notes on both the nose and palate, but not rose, some cedar overtones, with an enjoyable minerality. It's lovely because it all comes together like a beautiful gift basket (pun not intended) that would impress a royal lady, but stand up proud for a gentleman. It will improve, but you don't have to let it!

Loved it! Esp chilled — 5 years ago
This does not taste how it looks. Much tamer than what you’d expect from yeasty slugs swimming around unsupervised in a haze. Silvery green almondy notes and candied banana Runtz (remember those?). Also lemon, green apple. Strong acid but far from vinegar. Powerfully potent at 13.5%. — 6 years ago

Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of jammy black fruit, wild herbs and sweet spices. Flavors of cooked blackberries and black cherries, black licorice, raisins and baking spices. Medium-plus plush finish and body with good length. Medium tannins and acidity. Highly concentrated, ripe and rich. Thanks to Jennifer and Paul for sending a glass of their wedding wine over to me during dinner. Congratulations Guys! — 23 days ago
