2nd day much nicer. I switched to a better “ real” glass as well. Most of the initial, fruit driven nose and palate has morphed into something darker, more graphite and pepper with that inimitable Viognier lift on the finish. The texture is very, very nice. Palate coating but never heavy. Excellent recommendation from @FassSelections. — 7 months ago
Wow, huge wine! Look forward to more from Cathiard! — a year ago
What a saga to get this delivered to me in NJ. Worth it. Love Andre Mack. Love his winery. Love this wine. — 4 years ago
Nose of cranberry, cherry candy, black pepper and mint(?). Bright and juicy on the palate with tart red fruits and a touch of spice. Good acidity and a kiss of tannins.
Just what the doctor ordered for a summertime red. Lovely stuff. — 5 years ago
Initially heavy on the tart cherry and cola flavors. Over an hour, the acidity mellowed and this became fuller — 6 years ago
The Vosne-esque Aux Thorey is showing beautifully at age 14, perfumed and seductive with excellent depth and concentration. It’s dark fruited, black tea and spice tinged and laced with minerality. In a great place. — 4 months ago
I think this is the only 2020 Napa I have bought & tasted.
Opened one the day after they arrived which is way too soon to judge but it was better than expected for the vintage. Tons of sediment surprisingly. Winery notes below-

It was worth buying a few. Thanks for solving the mystery bottle challenge on Last BottleFloral and minerals. — 4 years ago
Combines a lot of wine profiles in this blend. Fruity without being overly sweet. Healthy amount of tannins. Reminds me of a Barbera d’asti maybe, but with a Syrah mouthfeel. Andre Mack knows what he is doing. — 4 years ago
Pretty tasty meunièr! Tat apricot and peach with the gentle brioche. — 6 years ago

Started soft and a little salty, opened beautifully to become sweeter, more tart and intense. Very nice experience. — 2 years ago
A little toward the semi-sweet but still a crispness and great lychee fruit throughout. — 5 years ago
Very good white wine. Doesn't have that artificial taste some whites do. — 5 years ago
