12%. Plenty of acid. Very well made. Honeyed nose. Classic 1,1,6-Trimethyl-1,2-dihydronaphthalene (TDN) well in place. I am actually going away from describing it as goût de pétrole. TDN is just easier. Beyond that meyer lemon and ??? white peach. At the Meritage in Encinitas. — 3 days ago
Pop and pour. A splendid medium dark ruby red color. On the nose: cherry, vanilla oak, earth , floral. Taste: balanced, round wine with cherry/raspberry, cedar, licorice, saline, spice. Nice entry Paul Hobbs pinot. Enjoy. — 3 months ago
Inky purple, blackberry and cassis on the nose; dark cherry, blackberry, black plum, grippy tannins, intense acidity; tangy finish, deep on the back of the palate; still too young — 21 days ago
