Located halfway up the hill dominating the principal valley of Barolo, supported by steep slopes lined by orderly vineyards, lies the 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry, lively spice, well balanced with savory fine tannins on a medium+ finish ending with mineral character. — 3 months ago
The origins of the Damilano family dates back to over a century ago, when Guiseppe Borgogno, the great-grandfather of the current owners, started to grow and make wine from his own grapes. Medium Ruby with aromas of fresh berry fruits and generous spice. On the palate this medium body wine shows flavors of juicy cherry and blackberry with notes of citrus and vanilla spice. Light tannin structure, lively acidity, medium ending with fruit finish. Nice value. Drink now, consistent, no aging benefit. — 3 years ago

Light, crisp, strong grapefruit flavor. Paired better with slightly sweetly seasoned food to balance out the bitterness. — 3 years ago
So. Damn. (Elegantly). Crushable. Rangpur lime, a petrol-y olive oil, memories of a summer fruit pie, a sprinkle of tarragon, crisp mineral-y tang that fades into a beautiful calcium carbonate lime zest finish and a hit of aromatic joint…oh, wait… — 4 years ago

Another solid vintage of this guilty pleasure wine. Pronounced aromas of white flowers, ripe orchard and tropical fruit as well as some citrus. Flavors of nectarines, peaches, apricots, pineapple and fresh herbs. Medium finish and crisp acidity. Light bodied, creamy mousse and light frizzante bubbles. A bit more RS in this vintage, which is well balanced by all that acidity. Well crafted and low (6%) ABV. What can I say? My wife will drink this with me. Nice dessert option on a hot Summer Day.
