Medium ruby; medium intensity aromas of red fruit, wild strawberry, cherry, red currant, pomegranate, gaminess, savory spice like allspice, black tea, white mushroom; dry, medium plus acid, medium plus tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, seamless integration, perfume fills the palate, very good — 3 days ago
Nose has wet red/black currants, ripe-tart cherry, dry autumn leaves and dry soil.
Palate has ripe cherry, ripe plum, blackberry and red currant. Not much complexity at this time, but showing bold acidity and medium tannins.
I think still quite youthful, future bottles could be 2024+, hoping for improvement. I've generally been happy on the progress of many '14 Burg's, this seems more youthfully austere in its development. — 17 days ago
This has a wonderfully succulent nose. Soft red fruit, that wonderful classy burg depth. On the palate great balance and super fresh for its age. Nice balance at the middle and a good finish. The front is the thing here and the rest is a bit more prosaic s as often is the way with Clos Vougeot, but this is a lovely wine in great shape. — 5 days ago
White stone fruit, white flowers, flint and smoke with some salinity. Very good and would be even better with age. (Enjoyed in late 2019.) — 14 hours ago
Classic Crozes with minty bouquet, spices, white pepper and herbs. Rosemary and blackberry on the palate. Balanced and top quality — 2 days ago
