Wind Storm

Storm Wines

Donnachadh Vineyard Pinot Noir 2023

This is a bigger wine than I remember. More brawny. A lot of baking spice and also spices in general. Almost a cumin component. There’s a lot of fruit but it is richer and darker cherry and berry. I’m guessing this will integrate better over time. — 4 days ago

Santa Barbara County Grenache Rosé 2021

I like this better with some age. Really great full flavor with balance of acid. Went really well with halibut ceviche. — 3 years ago

Presqu'ile Vineyard Pinot Noir 2020

This is great right now. Well balanced. Tart fruits of cherry and cranberry leading to some darker fruits and flowers with an end of baking spice. If there’s good acidity that makes you come back for more. Awesome with food. This could go with so many dishes. It’s so clean and yet has the goods to shine. — a month ago

John Sebastiano Vineyard Pinot Noir 2023

Cherry. Earthy. Touch smokey. Touch bitter. Spice. Good but not a burgh like wine despite the low%. but a good effort. A little rough around the edges. — 5 months ago

Presqu'ile Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2024

So good right now. Grapefruit, some grass, saline, more citrus and apple. Tart. Great in 95 degree weather in palm desert with a bbq chicken dinner. The acidity is just perfect. — 2 months ago

Savory and a bit of funk. Might have guessed Rocks District on p&p if blind. — 4 months ago

Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2021

Fresh with pinpoint tannins and vibrant, juicy acids. Very Santa Barbara with fresh picked red berries and garrigue. Rustic and intense but also creamy on the finish. — 3 years ago
