Aromas of red and black fruits, violets and mulchy Sous Bois. Coal River Valley - close to the Vosne Romanee of Tasmania IMO. Sweet, savoury and intense - more raspberry and black cherry than beetroot. Easy to like - see previous note about a year ago. — 3 months ago
Pleasantly surprised by how delicious this is. Dusty cranberry, leather, tobacco. While cluster…maybe? Great acid and a savory note — 3 months ago
2021 opened March 2023. This is just lovely! Leather and black raspberries on the nose. Soft red fruit on the front, but not enough to make it cloying. Medium tannins that are silky smooth. Nice earthy backbone with all sorts of high notes dancing above the mid palate and the back palate. Medium finish with a slight bitter kick at the end to remind you that you should sip this wine to properly appreciate it. — 7 months ago
