Always a huge bummer when this wine is showing badly. Super shy. No fantastic acidity and long finish. A lil fat and watery. Sad night at Mott 32. — a month ago
This is EROS DE RAPHAËL. 2021
A bit tight when it opened but after 15 minutes the great qualities of Pinot Gris and gewurztraminer started to roll out of the glass. Cinnamon, grapefruit, rose and... carrots!
A cloudy nat blend. High but not sharp acids, an IPA like bitterness. — 21 days ago

@Delectable this is Theo Dancer gamay. Bright cranberry and pomegranate, med bodied, slight spritz, would give this some more time — a month ago
Ruby colour of beautiful intensity. Peppery nose, fresh red and black fruits, animal notes, bacon, and smoked. A racy, straight Cornas. Velvety mouth texture. Syrah as we like it. 2014 a vintage a priori not obvious, which will have ended up finding its balance in its ninth year.
— a month ago
Opens up with air to complex nose of green apple, quince, white pepper, River stones, Meyer lemon and hint of oyster shell. Mineralilty and concentration prevail. Long finish. Great stuff but clearly could benefit from even more time given structure and backbone.

Decanted an hour before serving, but it was the 2 hour mark where it explodes showing tremendous power and intensity in its layers of clean orchard fruit, crushed oyster shells, savory algae and citrus blossoms. It’s so concentrated, detailed and laser focused and it continued to evolve texturally, gaining so much weight and expanding on the palate before a finish that just keeps going. Electric tonight, and one of the absolute greats of the vintage. — 20 days ago
