Within a few minutes the opening notes change from what was lighter fruit to dark notes with bitter lace of coffee, fig, and bark. Cranberries sparkle through as an acidic tone then takes over with a tight and elegant finish. — 2 months ago

Middle of the road body. Nose is tart raspberry and roasted plum. Palette is macerated strawberry with a hint of basil. Crowd pleaser. Could cocktail or pair with food very easily. — a month ago

Was worried that this would be fruity and oaky. I should’ve known not to worry. The nickel family is serious about this wine. It’s very dark and I fear too young. Stood up very well with steak and punched back. Hit it with 100% pure oxygen and it’s still tight. Has some nice savory notes hiding the fruit here. Feel like I’m eating the wine. But I like it. — 2 months ago
2019 vintage. A nice blend. Dry and dark enough for my taste with a complex and interesting palette — 3 months ago

A tasty chateauneuf du pape inspo bursting with ripe berry flavors, some spice and a nice medium finish. Medium complexity liquid fruit roll up; very easy drinking. — 4 days ago
