Maybe just past it’s prime, decanted for 2 hrs and showed well. Heavy cedar and pencil shavings. Blue and heavy dried black fruit. Very nice with Hunters Stew.

Lovely taste with a rustic sort of feel. Has a solid Bordeaux feel to it. This vintage is ready to drink and I’d probably enjoy it sooner rather then later.

I've had this a few times...deep ripe can fruit with plenty of chewy tannins, opening up but will live on well to 2020+. Cedar and coffee notes and a deep dark berry palate . Smart and sophisticated Napa.
