Quite a step down from the 2021 we were drinking before. — 10 days ago
This is a blend, but hit all the high notes I love about Zin. Bright big red berry jam and black pepper! — a month ago
Color of dark purple, nice legs. Nose of tobacco leaves, dark fruits, black cherry and strawberry, hint of cigar, and some oak note. Taste follows similar dark fruits track, with addition of solid tannin, strawberry, refined acidity and a bit mineral. Taste is flavorful, clean, and mouthful. Alcohol content hidden inside the flavors. Aftertaste is long with oak, fruits, and zest. Nicely done. — 5 days ago
2008 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 10 mins-2 hrs. Super small amount of sed in the dregs. Vibrant nose and relatively balanced early on but picked up some overt tartness after lounging in the decanter for an hour. Medium body. Decent showing and maybe has 3-4 more years at this level before dropping down another notch. 9.23.23. — 7 days ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of 83% Zinfandel, 10% Petite Sirah, 3% Alicante and 4% other reds, deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits and pepper spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with cinnamon spice. Fine lively tannins, vivid acidity, nice balance, medium+ finish ending with a fruit character and slight notice of alcohol. Good value! Drink now! — 6 days ago
