Venus is a stellar no dosage champagne. Definitely worth seeking out.

NV | 90% Chardonnay 10% Pinot Noir Dosage 5g/L comes from the vineyards in d’Avenay, Coligny, Vauciennes, Avize, Oger, Cramant and Oiry. 25% fûts de chêne. Bottled may 2018, degorgement august 2020. Very true to type champagne with lovely acidity, tension and balance. — 22 days ago
Seems tightly wound at first, but opens up with air. Nose shows candied, crisp cherry, light spice, and bright crushed rock minerality. Very lively. Chiseled in the mouth, with crushed rock minerality in the foreground and fruit in the background. Bright acids. Seems like it’s not quite integrated yet. Fun now, it will get more elegant and settled over the next 2-3 years. Nice!
UPDATE: Night 2, it’s in fact much more together. All the individual components are singing in harmony, and great limestony terroir is informing the crisp cherry fruit. Upping from 9.0 to 9.2. — 7 days ago

Really enjoyed this, smooth and delicious — 5 days ago
NV, but back label had the date 04/04/08 and it’s a beautiful bottle of champagne. Yellow color hints at the intense yellow fruit—mellow, yellow peach and nectarine, gentle but persistent, layered soft delicious fruit. Really a delicious bottle that rewarded cellaring, as do many NVs. — a month ago
