Of all the comrades that e'er I had
They're sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I had
They'd wish me one more day to stay
But since it fell into my lot
That I should go and you should not
I'll gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all
Fill to me the parting glass
And drink a health whate'er befalls
Then gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all
Week, months, years will pass. But I will miss you every single day 💙 — a year ago
Never been much for Malbec, but this one is special! Great blend of fruit and spice notes. Love the art and passion that goes into this wine. — 4 years ago
Still drinking surprisingly well. This 14-year-old CAB-from this Saint Paul Oregon winery was quite impressive. The grapes came from a distinguished vineyard out of the Yakima Valley in Washington state. Tannins and @fruits still doing their job. — 7 months ago
2011 vintage and 100 % Okanagan Cabernet Franc.
Deep ruby red; impressive colour after 12 years.
Dried sweet raspberries, tobacco, sage .
and celery root on the nose.
Older dark fruit, tea, leather and garrigue. Tannins are smooth and acidity is still present and working well.
Owen Knowlton won Sommelier of the year in 2011 in British Columbia and was awarded the opportunity to make a wine with Okanagan Crush Pad…his choosing. 3 barrels…or 75 cases were made. Owen is a good friend and gifted me one of his last remaining bottles. — 9 months ago
Fruity start, a little green pepper on finish — 3 years ago
Peaches, peach blossoms and minerals on the nose, good amount of acid but a round body, sweet peaches and floral palate as well. Very drinkable summer wine. From Washington wine class🍷 — 5 years ago
Like this a lot- nicely balanced and juicy — 8 months ago
This wine we opened is the 2020 Owen Roe Rosa Mystica Yakama Valley Cabernet Franc. This wine comes from Wapato, Washington.
On the nose there is cherry, strawberry, raspberry, bell pepper, licorice and crushed gravel.
On the palate there is tart cherry, tart strawberry, raspberry, bell pepper, herbaceous notes, baking spice, crushed gravel and graphite.
This is a medium to full bodied wine medium + acidity and medium to medium + firm tannins which moves into a long red fruit crushed gravel finish. Have a great end of the week and look forward to the weekend. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 8 months ago
Red and black fruit mingle with turned earth and spice box characters. Lush while still playing lightly across the palate. Layers of ripeness are holding up on this 6 year PN. Velvet tannins and vibrant acid frame the wine from start to finish. A great representation of the 2015 vintage. — 3 years ago
