Checking the tasting notes in the bottle label: honeysuckle and lemongrass (subtle) is a yes, ginger I didn’t get at all. Did get some pear on the back. Regardless, I really like this wine and I will buy it again. — a year ago
Honeyed apricot. Pretty sweet. Paired well with tandoori chicken. — a year ago
Bought as a half bottle to pair with homemade crab cakes, asparagus, and pan-fried chips. Lovely pale yellow color, fresh citrus and grass aroma and taste (with a hint of my favorite: green bell pepper) with a moderate alcohol sting on the back end. — 2 years ago
Excellent example of why Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs are my favorite Sb wines. Crisp, clean, light yellow with a hint of green. Just unripe peach, sweet bell pepper. Wonderful. — a year ago
Just ripe peach, some grassy notes. A little green bell pepper. Very drinkable. Another excellent NZ Sauvignon blanc. — a year ago
On the higher end of price for a sauv blanc. Strong bell pepper aroma and has a little of it on taste as well, specifically in that crisp, fresh, green way. Otherwise very fresh and fruity. Tastes new. — 2 years ago
Lots of lovely bell pepper, with some honey and slightly under ripe peach. Very nice. — a year ago
Was poking around a little wine shop downtown, found a display of this reading “do you like Sauvignon blanc? [Full disclosure: I do, in fact, like Sauvignon blanc.] Then you should be drinking white Bordeaux!” [Full disclosure 2: the actual signage was much more refined.] Anyway, the signage worked, I bought it and I like it a lot. Lots of the young fresh peach and apricot, with a little grassiness, of a Sb but a little richer and more complex. — a year ago
Nice, light, uncomplicated wine. More vegetal than fruity (which I prefer). Goes well with Mediterranean-style dishes. Would probably make a very refreshing spritzer. — 2 years ago
