From first sniff, I could tell this Sauvignon Blanc was different from most I had tried before. There was an undertone of creaminess and an intense ripeness to the wine’s fruit tones. Pear, passionfruit, green apple and hints of mango were accompanied by an undertone of fresh cream.
On the palate, the wine was sensationally balanced. It had a hefty body enough to stand up to Filipino egg rolls (lumpia) and refreshing fruit and acidity that washed over my whole mouth.
Everyone in my family remarked that they enjoyed the wine. So far, this holds the gold standard for New World Sauvignon Blanc for me. — 24 days ago
Hunter classic.. great wine — 2 months ago
See previous notes. My last bottle of what was an excellent Viognier. This was mid Lemon in colour. Notes of pear and honeysuckle. Palate whilst being delicate has great texture with real persistence. Isn’t as unctuous or with the concentration of a Condrieu but wonderful nonetheless. Drinking at its peak. — 4 days ago

Strong berry with a hint of chocolate. Rich taste. So enjoyed this drop. Definitely recommend and buy again. — 8 days ago
Lovely lithe expression of syrah with viognier adding voluptuous notes. Floral Cote Rotie-esque perfumes with a delicate pepperiness. So transparent and elegant. By night two this is showing purple and pink flowers, candied violets, iron, fresh black raspberry, brambly notes, a touch of tropical fruit. Definite structure, but it’s all grace and poise, like the muscle of a ballet dancer. Perfectly judged hint of sweetness on the finish. — a month ago
