Past it’s prime, unfortunately- but still a great drop! Hints of ripe fruit, very structured, the eucalyptus notes are gone (from past Tastings of this same year) but still a fruit-forward, Shiraz powerhouse! I should have opened this about 1.5 years ago at its apex!!

Australians view this as one of the premier Shiraz from Barossa.....really fantastic, chocolate, leather touch of menthol and Long Long finish....no pun intended

Very solid old school wine. Hugo Gramp would recognise this wine as a style reminiscent of the Barossa deepest roots. A pleasure to drink, well managed oak and fruit. Will be a slow developing wine, which even in it's brown later years will be a solid example of the type.
