Light yellow golden color and white stone fruits with hints of oil and salinity carrying through to acidic biting palate with lively if not elegant texture and good length. Surprised to see on back label as 100% Chardonnay which in retrospect makes sense. Excellent. Checked list, was GL 2010 13.6 value, only two bottles with one gone to Maria/Ali so no more! Also two of same from Haute Vallee instead of Oceanique which hopefully still in stash. Made exactly the same way but from district vineyard terroir. Too bad can’t make direct comparison. — 5 days ago
Perfect wine for drinking the evening following the resignation of one's employment. Tastes of cherry and sorrow, with contemplative notes of anxiety.
Really, a remarkable blend of fruits and emotions. — 21 days ago
Coating bubbles that release gracefully. Strong notes of apple, lemon, and lemons candy. Sweeter than I would expect for a cava but still delightful — 23 days ago
Really fantastic expression of the varietal from Lujan de Cuyo. Had a chance to meet the man himself when I was there in 2011 and he was quite the character. Makes the wine in a simple warehouse with a garage to store barrels and cases of wine. A nice departure from the showy caves and opulent facilities elsewhere. 👍🏼👍🏼 — 7 days ago
Vintage 2014 | made from Auxxerrois by Abi Duhr. Big, big surprise! This stood out next to a archetypical Chardonnay from Chassagne-Montrachet. Appealing nose with butter, pear and minerals. Great balance. Fine food pairing with potted shrimp. By far the best wine I have had from Luxemburg. Only 500 bottles made in a year, this is certainly a wine to search for. — a month ago
Light body, chocolate & berries. A lovely drinkable Pinot Noir. Though young. Great for the price. — a month ago
A showstopper of a wine. One of the best I’ve tasted for a long time. — a month ago
