15 person champagne tasting with friends.
We finished the tasting with what I would call the King of Champagne, Kurg. For me their are two Kings in wine. The other would be Chateau Latour.
Had this three times last year, it was showing a lot of citrus. In our tasting, it showed more integration & complexity. Much better and will continue to better things for a decade…maybe more. — 14 days ago
Very krug-y — 2 months ago
This wine has a faint yellow tint in the glass. The nose gives off lemon notes with some minerality and a hint of orange peel and salinity. The palate shows off a lovely array of citrus flavors and a racy acidity that will make food pairing easy. This is a delightful wine, and it offers a lot for the price. — 2 months ago

Like when the 170eme came out, very lemony. Grapefruit, lime zest, yellow peach, white nectarine, tropical melons, tangerine, meringue, golden apple, baguette crust, soft yeastiness, the chalk and minerality is so soft and understated, it is a bit of reach to appreciate it is there and as beautiful it is, yellow and white florals, amazingly perfect acidity, wire to wire it is excellent with no drop off, well; knitted, structured, balanced, soft tension, excellent length and polish for days. Better young than the 170eme. @ K&L Champagne tasting. — a day ago
