More notes later as I just poured it out and wow! In an amazing place. So supple and rich but fresh. Really gamey and meaty with fantastic freshness and vivid cherry fruit. Really amazing overnight. So sappy, succulent, pure and balanced. Just gorgeous wine. — a month ago
Great standby Riesling and an excellent value at ~$16-18 - a tinge sweet and leans towards the plushier, fruitier Riesling style. Very low petrol notes, tastes like honeyed green grapes, white flowers. — a month ago
v20. Hard to beat Paso Red Blend. Very good! Soft, Smokey, candied nose. Fresh, deep, blackberry and soft tar fruit. Bright, peppery, chocolate and hint of leather finish. Nicely balanced… go to Red Blend. Very good! — a month ago
v21. As soon as you open , pour and sniff…imagine crushing a bunch of Cabernet grapes in your hand in the barrel room of a winery, this is the smell you get opening this wine! This wine consistently over delivers.
Nose evolves to soft tobacco.
Luscious, juicy blackberry fruit. Smooth, spicy, velvety, chocolate finish. Great entertaining wine! — 2 months ago
Zesty, cheek puckering, mineral driven. — 19 days ago
Sometimes an older bottle just hits and wow tbh is killing it? Nose is dusty bookshelves, old books, glorious spice and some faint cherry but the story is the palate. Wow. Just perfect. Sensual texture, hit of opulence, great acids and freshness, barely sweet fruit and killer length. What one wants out of an aged wine. Fantastical. — 2 months ago
Had this at West Wind Orchard with Sebastiano, Will Shaw and Mario. — a month ago

Big 18 sunshine nose. Violets, mulch and spice. Some nice sweet wood as well. But just enormous spice. Very Fruh. Palate is so elegant and full of violets and wonderful inner mouth florals. Really nice opulent texture and just floats. Let’s see what air does. After air this gets more linear and gains edge and energy. Really different now than when it was p and p. — 4 days ago
