Bricco Bussia Vigna Cicala Barolo Nebbiolo 1985

Wow, floral, faint road tar, this twin Barolo tastes 20 years younger than the Colonello, so rich, so YOUTHFUL, so complex, super long and lingering finish, really close to, if not there already, perfect!! — 4 days ago

Cascina Francia Barolo Nebbiolo 2005

Quite light ruby , wide garnet , terracotta rim . Fruit forward , with red cherry , strawberry , rose , pomegranate with sweet spices , anis . On the palate lovely sweet cherry , strawberry , light red fruits , crunchy with quite fresh acidity . Polished and sweet , but very present tannins , this is still very young. Saline and sweet spice tinged finish , good length. This is drinking well, however is still very fruit driven and just improved throughout the evening . From now but will improve over the next 5-10 years and last well a further 10, especially in magnum. — a month ago

Barolo Nebbiolo 2020

Delectable Wine
9.2

Diego Conterno’s 2020 Barolo is, once again, a terrific wine in its peer group. Deep, fleshy and super-expressive, the 2020 is ready to go. Crushed rose petal, spice, blood orange, menthol and cedar are front and center. Vibrant, fleshy and terrifically balanced, the 2020 is an absolute delight. I loved it. Langhe Nebbiolo 2022

Bussia Barolo Nebbiolo 1995

1995 Bussia Barolo.
Still holding a deep red core with a bit of fading at the rim…impressive.
Dried Bing cherries, dried roses and flowers on the nose.
Dried red fruit, cherries and plums with mint and mushrooms.
Tannins are disappearing but the acidity is still so smooth.
A friend foraged for local Matsutake mushrooms and we made risotto with black summer truffles.

Giacomo Fenocchio

Bussia Barolo Nebbiolo 2020

Reddish in color with medium intensity.

Strong fruity nose and medium in body, with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with cherries, currants, light wood, tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn, chocolates and earth.

Medium finish with grippy tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a very young Barolo from Piedmont. Elegant and powerful.

This Single Vineyard Nebbiolo is already drinking very nicely, and better with food.

A good quality wine that will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years.

100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in large oak barrels for 32 months.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$80.
