Barolo Nebbiolo

Usually i would leave a Barolo longer than this (2012) in my cellar but i had a sense this was softer - and it seems like it was the right choice rose petal, brown sugar black fruit jam

With any other meal, the minerality would be at the fore, but with a rare rack of lamb, the minerals are tamed and the fruit notes are heightened. Clear, slightly brick color with hints of ruby. Smells of roses and leather. Incredibly subtle tannins.

$30. Bright. Great finish. Really good

This vintage is rustic and reserved. Very little fruit. Advanced color. Aromatics emerge with time in the glass. Nice with pot roast.

Very light red color. Faint aromas of cooked dark cherries, rose petals and tar. Dark cherry/raspberry, mushroom and tobacco with a hint of spice on the pallet. Texture is a bit light. The tannins are not overly firm (actually very fine) but there is plenty of acidity. Give this one a decant and some time to open up. This Nebbiolo just got better as the night went along. Easy drinking crowd pleaser.

Very smooth but not hugely complex

Surprised by a light body. Delicious Barolo.

I heard very good things, but didn't measure up as a fine Barolo; quite light actually.

Vinho fino! Notas incríveis!
