Blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, deep Ruby color with aromas of red and black fruits with toasty spice. On the palate flavors of black raspberry, currants and black cherry with licorice, toasty oak and tobacco. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and earthy tobacco spice. An excellent wine, especially once opened up. Good price at $54 — 18 days ago
2022 vintage. 65 Merlot, 30 Cabernet Sauvignon, 4 Cabernet Franc, 1 Petit Verdot. A very different style compared to Brane Cantenac, as it comes from different vineyards and it is more Merlot dominated. But this 2022 is a great wine in its own right. Good to know is that Henri Lurton considers 2022 his best vintage ever! — 22 days ago

50% Cab Sauvignon 35% Merlot some Cab Franc and PV
Well integrated tannins, nice rich berry nose and great balance fruit and acidity on the palate. At eight years has still time to mature more but showing it’s there for the long run.
Very nice package overall — a month ago
