I literally gave up on domestic Chardonnay...but I love the flavor profile—Tart, juicy Granny Smith and ripe sweet pear. No discernible oak, light crisp acid/ fruit balance and ABV under 13. What a food wine! Every time I pop an Enfield, I congratulate myself on my perspicuity and good sense. It’s not hard to drink well, just ignore the big names and hype. — 4 days ago
I only had a taster of this but I wish I had a whole bottle — a month ago
I really like this. I'm seeing reviews saying funky and I agree with that... But it's not a bad funk at all. Definitely good fruit but also lots of butter and a great aftertaste. Not alcohol tasting, it's a rare one that's good in the mouth and leaves a great finish. I can't remember where I got this... Either WinCo or Costco or maybe total wine... I need to find it again though, it's really good. — 9 days ago
Less flavor and more texture. Subtle, weird, and wild.
The easy and obvious comparison is pop rocks with an intense effervescent effect. But if you hold this and swirl around, you’ll get a puffy baking soda sensation on the edge of your inside checks, contrasting the acid ringing in the center of your tongue.
This is the pop album with catchy beats that open up to deep, intense, and thought provoking lyrics the more you listen. You want to say ‘meh’ but then you can’t. It’s the record you put on when you have a party, but the conversation is dull and a distraction is required without breaking the mood. — 19 days ago
Nose is wild and funky. Verset like immediately comes to mind. It’s wild and funky but also has class, deep Syrah character and refinement. Some VA, some funk, some elegance, leather, berry fruit, some brett, it is all there and coming out to play but somehow it works. Way better than the ghastly 12’s. Palate is juicy and rustic, with nice juiciness and purity. Definitely get a Sicilian vibe from this. Tinny but in a good way. Wild, rustic and pure. Juicy with good fruit and lovely tannins. Rustic, charming and juicy. Long. No finesse but it makes up for it in charm. Very good. — 20 hours ago
Interesting but very floral, almost like rose water. My partner hated it. — 2 months ago
Juicy, wet with dry notes and a bit of peppery finish — a day ago
