An exquisite wine. Chocolate, mushrooms, espresso, and dark fruits. A real treat. — 2 months ago
This Pinot toes the line between power and grace. Robust aromas and flavors but still fine and light, even for California. Red cherries and orange peel, some nutmeg and baking spices, even some mint. 2018 is drinking really well right now. — 3 months ago
This keeps impressing, easily comparable to Trimach Cuvee Frederic Emile. Heavy petrol with citrus, but not as much complexity as other Aussie Rieslings. Nice finish but not particularly lengthy. — 15 days ago
Pale straw color with a slight green cast. Piercing aromas of petrol and wet slate with slight hints of white flowers and lemon/lime. The palate features ripe red apple, white peach, lemon and lime with a light touch of spicy ginger. A bit of a chalky texture which is well balanced by bracing acidity. A bit of CO2 bubbles in the glass. Long and lingering finish. Great with food. — 2 months ago

Fragrant, floral, juicy and zesty Australian Riesling, terrific with food but also great on its own. Fine value at twice the price. Enjoyed the 2022 vintage at the Water Grill in downtown LA, at our Public Finance Department’s holiday dinner. — 7 hours ago
