Soft berry aroma. Soft pepper after a few seconds. Dark fruit and soft soft raspberry finish. An easy drinking zin! — 20 days ago
Dark, moderately rich, brambly blackberry fruit mostly, very fresh and lively on palate, avoids the jammy, overripe notes that mar some Zins, seems quite youthful and capable of further development, my first Zin from Morgan T-P, very impressed!! (Drank MANY of his father’s Zins, dating back to the 1976 Vogelsong, his first!!) — 2 months ago

This is really good - vibrant, fruity — 2 months ago
Exactly what I hoped for: generous, sensuous, brimming with Classic Zin character, this has many years to go, but still delivers now. — 2 months ago
Had in Thanksgiving after dinner. Still the best wine broc makes. Wish he didn’t do so many other random wines that have no soul. This is amazing fruit, tastes like zin but so well balanced. It was like an aperitif to bridge dinner and dessert. — 2 days ago
I had seen this bottle on the wine list (for only around €75) for a while but been worried it might be past its peak. But there is nothing to be afraid of here. Just an excellent example of how well quality old vine Californian Zin-blends can age in the skilful hands of the team at Ridge. Large ripe berries, spice, orange peel, dark chocolate, liquorice and charcuteries. Flavourful, expressive and balanced. Very enjoyable. — 2 months ago
