Drinking great. Never over the top type Zin. But complex and very enjoyable — 4 months ago

Big bold Zin!! Great nose and spicy peppers on the finish. Ate with great steak. Reccomend for sure — 2 years ago
So solid, year in year out - I know they make a ton of this, and yes it’s at Costco, but when you’re looking for a reliable Zin, this is it. Bordering on being too fruit forward - this barely checks the box for secondary aromas & flavors. Balanced harmonious with intermediate aging potential. Try to find their single vineyard offerings. — 2 years ago
The 2020 edition of this wine is excellent. Still on the young side, it’s got a classic Zin nose of pristine brambly blackberry, a lifted note that’s almost but not quite eucalyptus adjacent, and some loamy gravel. Gorgeous balance in the mouth, rich and intense but with an elegant texture, tannins abundant but buried under the concentrated flavors. Flavors balance fruit and savory notes. Long. Love this one. — 15 hours ago

Day 1 of this year's Smallmouth Smackdown has begun. After 7 hours on the boat, and a dozen bass, it's time to crack into some libations (had a few PBR's on the boat).
This is a lush Zin. Concentrated fruit, but savory and chewy. Blackberry, blood orange, cigar box, and enough structure to age much longer. This is my 3rd Ridge Zin, and I'd have to say I still favor the Pagani Ranch.

Very nice Zin. Did not secant and was quite soft. Notes of chocolate and spice. — 6 years ago
There is no quit in this Zin. Still full of fresh, dark fruit, zippy acidity, seamless tannins and some port like qualities belying its age, it absolutely sung 23 years after harvest. — 19 days ago
Found it! This is a light-handed Zin, and very delicious. Thanks for the recommendation! @Doug Powers @Anthony De Blasi

Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of black plums, tobacco, and baking spices; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of blueberries, blackberries, white pepper, and crushed gravel with a long finish. This wine is intense and complex, but a little hot and slightly bitter. I think it needs to breath. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 2 days ago
