Blend of 82% Zinfandel, 14% Petite Sirah & 4% Carignane, deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and tangy spices. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with black pepper spice and a touch of sweet herbs. Soft tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and some oak. Nice!

Classy but not that exciting. Dry, floral on the nose, a bit sweeter on the palate. Not quite up to the price tag. One of the great old school CA houses though.

Awesome wine for $35 - taste like Beaujolais with loads of berries and fruit but has a great balance of tannins with just enough acidity! I could drink this wine year round - love what Frogs leap is doing
