Usually it’s a curse when your wine seller says it’s “ Chablis-esque”. Not this time. What a sensorium of fruit and layers of sea shell minerals; green apples, a bit of lemon curd; rs? Pitch perfect balance, pitch perfect price-under 27$. If this doesn’t convince you Portugal can swing with the heavy hitters,….From the Douro. — 6 days ago
Black cherry, raspberry preserves, blackberry, stewed fruit and hints of oak. Full-bodied and soft tannins. — 7 days ago
Just because it's 25 degrees outside doesn't mean that I cannot enjoy a good glass of port 🔥
Already starting to develop some amber colors and complexity but still has a well defined core of primary fruit. Killer nose of wet cardboard and autumn leaves. I'm now going to sink deep into this bottle 🍷😂 happy weekend everybody — 10 days ago
"ruby red color warm, earthy aromas of blackberries, spices and herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied with complex berry notes, hints of tannins, a balanced acidity and a nice dry finish." — 3 days ago
medium/full bodied, not overly powering with dark fruits, subtle notes of cherry and peppers, decent but smooth finish. Grapes made of Touriga Nacional,Touriga Franca, & Tinta Roriz. — 5 days ago
Nakedwines.com as beautiful as the label. Dry and flavorful at the same time. — 4 days ago
Very fresh & enticing with fresh figs & mandarine peel in the forefront with some nutty toffee & melon caramel in the back and a pinch of black pepper.
On the palate this is nicely balanced with sweet raising fruit and a nutty, spicy finish. There’s a touch of tannins and good length.
The nose does promise more than the palate delivers and I’d love to have more depth & precision here, yet this remains a delicious after-dinner treat! — 6 days ago
