As seen before, the nose in opening is a little rough. But after it breathes, it is indeed a delectable wine. Light, slightly acidic, and very very good. — 20 days ago
A few hours slow ox served perfectly for this beauty to flaunt its seductive, complex and layered bouquet of red fruit, rose petals, and now, at age 10, revealing signature scents of truffle and game. A captivating perfume. The palate is deep, structured and sensual with such a luxurious mouthfeel and a saline-mineral finish that keeps on going. A fantastic 13. — a month ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon, aromas of Stone and tropical fruits, with floral and sweet spice notes, aged 10 months in 15% new French oak, from a cooler climate. On the palate flavors of apple, peach & apricot with lemon zest and toasty vanilla notes. Smooth long finish, well balanced, nice acidity, ending with fruit, vanilla oak and mineral character. Drink well now. Pair this with some pan sautéed halibut with a Beurre Blanc sauce. — 9 days ago
