Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux

Vieilles Vignes Nuits Saint Georges Pinot Noir 2018

Ruby with aromas of red fruits, spice and smoky notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and currants with black pepper, oak and smoky notes. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice, toasty oak and mineral character. — a month ago

Les Chaignots Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2015

2023 summer. Still lots of dark berry fruit and powdery density - it would be even better bwith 10 more years, but tasty and engaging now — 2 months ago

Jérôme Chezeaux

Bourgogne Pinot Blanc 2020

The 2020 Bourgogne Blanc from Jérôme Chezeaux is a bit unusual in that it’s primarily old-vine Pinot Blanc (about 3/4) with the balance being Chardonnay. As one can imagine, not much of this is made. The wine pours a light golden color with medium viscosity. No signs of particles or gas. On the nose, aromas of stone and tropical fruit: peaches, pineapple, lemon, tangerine, meringue and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. The notes from the nose are confirmed. Finish is long, silky and has a good spine of limestone-like minerals. This was universally enjoyed by everyone at the table and finished way too fast. Drink now but could age for a few years with ease. — 7 months ago

Domaine des Chezeaux

Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2001

Very much like all the Ponsot wines from this era, and Domaine des Chezeaux was a "mettayage" agreement, Ponsot taking care of the vines, making the wine and getting 50% of the crop. We like it a great deal, actually.
Great bottle.

@Severn Goodwin agree, we love it ! Funny how Ponsot has the fame of late picker but wines are always so fresh and balanced. This bottle was less compelling than the prior ones but still excellent.
