Flash tasting; no formal notes. The 2019 “Clos des Chênes” is a light ruby; elegant and lithe with modest structure. Balanced but too youthful at this stage. Better after 2029. — 4 months ago
This is oh soo soo good. Light, clear medium rubi robe, nose of cherries and anise, complex and medium bodied. Needs 3 to 4 more years in the cellar. — 3 months ago
Flash tasting; no formal notes. The 2018 Charmes Chambertin is deeper ruby and shows light staining with fruit cake-like character and warm spices. The structure seems a bit modest for a GC. Better after 2025 — 4 months ago
