Blend of Nero d’Avola (70%) and Syrah (30%). Dark ruby color. Aromas of cherries, unripe strawberries and blueberries. Same fruits on the palate (more to the blueberry side) along with hints of dark cocoa, cigar box, mint and wood smoke. Gritty tannins. Pretty well structured. Quite rustic. — 6 months ago
