Vertus Grand Prieur Millésime Brut Champagne 2008

A new (to me) maison located in Vertus. The wine pours light straw in color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, bright lemons and white peach. On the palate, the fruit is confirmed and accompanied by chalky minerals. Long and very refreshing. 2008 vintage is certainly on display here. Zippy. I dig it! 70% PN, 30% Ch. Origine Uve solo Ambonnay piantate anni ‘70. Fermentazione barrique di cui 25% nuove. 101 mesi sui lieviti. Deg. Dicembre 2021. Dosage 1g/L.
Da aspettare molto. Almeno un paio di anni dal 2021 Deg. Si sente molto barrique nuova, deve digerire il legno.
