Château Vieux Manoir

Thienpont Derenoncourt

La Violette Du Manoir Grand Vin De Bordeaux 2010

Ken Z

Drank 10/13/20.
Nose on the light to medium side with plum, gravel, and fig. Black fruit and soil dominate the palate. Tannins mostly resolved at this stage. Finish is dry and falls off a bit quickly. Drink up, as this will not improve further.

La Crau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc White Rhone Blend 2006

Tell-tale aromatics of mature white Rhones, but.... this time with a firm ammount of acidic freshness.
Very nice, well done! 👍🏻

La Crau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2007

Wonderful. Classic nose. Hint of tar, leather and prune and fig. Truly elegant expression of CNdP - smooth tannins - with a super long finish. Just terrific. - will try to wait on the rest - time to evolve further. — 9 days ago

Le Vieux Pin

Cuvée Violette Syrah 2018

Funny that they call this "Cuvee Violette" because I think the first word I would use to describe this is "purple". Violet as in the flower is there too... This one is really softened up with the Viognier... Soft as one of those grey internet kittens with almost a smiley face... A lovely expression. No sharp edges here! — 3 days ago

Ava White Rhône Blend 2013

White Rhône-style blend. Crisp acidity, medium plus body. Meyer lemon, apricot and honeysuckle notes on the palette. Fantastic balance and elegance to this wine. Well done for a Canadian blend of Marsanne, Rousanne and Viognier!! Love this winery! — 15 days ago
