Nose on the light to medium side with plum, gravel, and fig. Black fruit and soil dominate the palate. Tannins mostly resolved at this stage. Finish is dry and falls off a bit quickly. Drink up, as this will not improve further.

Funny that they call this "Cuvee Violette" because I think the first word I would use to describe this is "purple". Violet as in the flower is there too... This one is really softened up with the Viognier... Soft as one of those grey internet kittens with almost a smiley face... A lovely expression. No sharp edges here! — 3 days ago
White Rhône-style blend. Crisp acidity, medium plus body. Meyer lemon, apricot and honeysuckle notes on the palette. Fantastic balance and elegance to this wine. Well done for a Canadian blend of Marsanne, Rousanne and Viognier!! Love this winery! — 15 days ago
