@Sarah O'Kelley One of my favorites!

Pierre Péters

Cuvée de Réserve Brut Blanc de Blancs Chardonnay

We had a taste test among 4 Champagnes, this Pierre Peters Cuvee de Reserve, Blanc de Blancs, Dampierre Cuvée des Ambassadeures Premier Cru, and Pehu Simone Face Nord Extra Brut Grand Cru. This one is the weakest in taste, quite band. The Dampierre was the best, bold and tasty finish, while the Pehu Simonet was very drinkable, nice taste but weaker finish. — 8 months ago

Domaine Terre de Mistrale

Simone Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend 2020

A nice summery rosé. A little sweet, not too dry. Nice with hors d’oeuvres or cheese. — 16 days ago

Château Simone

Palette Grand Cru de Provence White Rhone Blend 2014

Pressed yellow flowers, acacia, hay, pollen, lamp oil/ marine diesel, lanolin, Chanel no. 5. Long, salty and savory, with a very tertiary palate of almonds, honeycomb and preserved lemon and clay. Crazy complexity. Finish goes on and on. — 4 months ago

is this vintage in a good drinking window or better to let it age a few more years?

@Jason Gelman definitely in the window! ...Subtly oxidative, but in a very nice place. No rush but no need to wait imo

Château de Pommard

Simone Red Blend 2014

Oh. my. This is one of the best wines I’ve had in a long time. The 2014 is drinking elegantly; well balanced tannins and acid. Beautiful fruit, floral and tertiary flavors coming through and seemed to expand as it breathed. Let it sit in the decanter for about a hour before drinking. — 2 months ago
