Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2011

Holding a little back and not the best of years but I love this producer great black fruit, solid but supportive oak and wonderful trail to the end of forest floor — 6 days ago

Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2017

Blend of 67% Cab Sauv and 33% Merlot, bigger Cab% in ‘17. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, oak and spice. On the palate flavors of fresh blackberry, plum and currants with licorice and cigar box spice adding some cedar and slight floral notes. Fine ripe tannins, long finish ending with layers of fruit, cedar and spice. A joy to drink. Opening now but will last another decade+. Nice! — 6 months ago

Grand Cru Classé en 1855 Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2018

2018 vintage. Obvs an infant. Well-integrated nose…tough to pick out individual/standout component(s) currently. Light-bodied. Super dry with plenty of dark cherry intensity. Needs at least a half-decade before it decides to play. — 19 days ago

Alto de Cantenac Brown Margaux Sauvignon Blanc 2014

A very well and perfectly balanced big French Bordeaux...blanc! It’s not all red gold from the old world, sometimes that special corner of the wine world turns up golden whites like this one: soft, buttery and supple that then transforms into a light creamy mid-section and joins hands with a citrus bite at the finish. Full mouth feel and just perfect. Paired with a white pizza, but this will go with anything you’d drink a Chard with - even solo. Viva la Bordeaux!! — 9 months ago
