"A dry spicy wine with lots of ripe fruit - blackberry, quince, plum and chaparral". I hope my consumption of this wine also lends me a greater chance of becoming a centenarian, like those who drink this wonderful wine in northern Sardinia. — 6 days ago
Easy drinking, pleasant tannins, dried fruit, hint of licorice — 24 days ago
Seemingly higher than normal tannins (H+), dusty rose and cherry, light body... almost on the watery side. Likely a house style that is unique. Lovely for certain, but the opposite of the over-extracted Barolos you might be used to. Even though this is a sought-after 2013, it’s not an early drinker like some others... 5-10+ years should improve this wine. — 14 days ago
Nice and dry for barbera - more body than I expected. — 21 days ago
In 1879, 2 brothers decided to set up a wine business, C.V.N.E., Compañía Vinicola del Norte de España (Northern Spanish Wine Company) or la Cuné, as it is commonly known in Haro, was created and still kept in traditional neighborhood of Haro station today. Deep Ruby with ripe berry aromas and complex spices, 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, 5% Mazuelo. On the palate blackberry, cherry and sweet currant with herb, leather and pepper spice. Fine tannins, well balanced good depth and structure on a long finish. — 23 days ago
Cherries, leather and tar for miles.
Great acidity. Tastes like the earth w fruit. Phenomenal life. Jumps out of the glass. Screams northern Italy.
Soft, integrated tannins. — 7 days ago
A beautiful red brick color. Candied cherries, clove and cinnamon aromas and flavors. A California-style pinot noir made in Brazil. @Antonio Galloni , you should try the wines from this producer. They got nice ratings from Decanter Magazine. It is something new and different in the wine world. — a month ago
