What a great wine. This field blend from a single block of the Evangelho vineyard is made up of Mataro, Zinfandel, and Carignan among others. It’s a dusty, deep purple in the glass with dark, subtle fruit in the nose. Full of dark fruit, a bit of berry it’s incredibly smooth and full bodied with enough twinge of acidity and mild tannins to give it great structure. Excellent. — 9 days ago

Funky, dry, tart, fizzy. Those weird apple varieties you only get at a New England farmers market. Mmmm. — 2 days ago
Another strong showing from Bedrock benefitting from the vintage’s low crop yields and drawing from the Ubaldi, Judge and Bedrock estate vineyards. Pale gold, huge aromatics that are grassy, lemony and maybe a bit of melon; big mouthfeel with a nice jolt of acidity, a hint of oak, and some nice citrus and saline flavors. — 5 days ago

13.5% ABV Salute to Lulu Peyraud of Domaine Tempier in France. Lulu’s father owned the vineyard , and she along with her husband took it over. Sadly we lost her in October 2020 at the age of 102 y/o. This is a blend of old vine Mataro and Grenache. Light salmon color, watermelon initially , later apple. Very nice! — 6 days ago
