2012 Tibouren Clos Cibonne. This is a serious #wine for sure. Strawberries and minerality, but also an oily quality in a good way. In a way, the texture reminds me of a full bodied white burg. Will pair great with roasted salmon tonight. #france #provence #rose #cotesdeprovence — 10 years ago
2005 Domaine d'Ardhuy Savigny les Beaune 1er Cru "Aux Clous". Lovely #wine. Crushes berries, sour cherries, tobacco and black tea. Showing well but close to peak and many years of life left. #france #burgundy #bourgogne #beaune #pinotnoir — 10 years ago
2009 Feudi Medusa Albithia. This #wine is 100% Vermentino from Sardinia and it is like seabreeze in a bottle. Very floral with minerality/salinity, but a weighty texture that can pair well with fish and chicken alike. Love this stuff. #italy #sardinia #vermentino #feudidellamedusa — 10 years ago

2011 Foradori last night at Felidia in NYC. It was really nice. The #wine list at Felidia is huge and really deep on Italian wines, including many obscure varietals that I love so much (Negroamaro anyone?). We picked this with the help of the sommelier, and it was a very good food match, albeit a touch young. At $68 off the list it was a value in relation to the wine list, but I would stop short of saying it was a value buy in general. The Pagnac the night before was a much better value in the greater scheme of things. Food at Felidia's is expensive but outrageously good. In my opinion a must go place for upscale Italian when in NYC. — 10 years ago

2004 Chateau de Pibarnon. This #wine is drinking well right now. Earth, licorice, blackberry, dried herbs, bacon and truffle. Lots going on. Still on then stern side, but definitely ready to go. #france #bandol #provence #wine #vin #mourvedre — 10 years ago
